HPMP (Hospital Payment Monitoring Program) - As of August 1, 2008, with the beginning of the 9th Scope of Work, QIOs are no longer responsible for implementing or supporting the HPMP. Responsibility for HPMP activities has been transferred to other CMS entities; funding for QIO assistance related to HPMP activities has ceased.

The Medicare Quality Improvement Community (MedQIC) Web site is a free on-line resource for quality improvement interventions and associated tools, toolkits, presentations, and links to other resources.
