OBQI Training Module Presentations

Louisiana Health Care Review, Inc. (LHCR) and the Home Care Association of Louisiana (HCLA) hosted a series of training programs in Outcomes Based Quality Improvement (OBQI) for Medicare-certified Home Health Agencies. Below are the Power Point presentations from each of the nine modules. Accompanying materials are available to registered users at www.medqic.org under the Home Health Agency section.

Training sessions are designed for home health professionals:

  • Home Health Clinical Staff

  • Home Health Administrators and Directors of Nursing

  • Home Health Quality Improvement Professionals

Overall Goals of Training…

  • Provide an in-depth review of the outcome enhancement phase of the OBQI process,

  • Allow agency representatives to experience each step of the outcome enhancement process, and

  • Prepare agency representatives to train others at their respective agency in implementing the OBQI process.
