One of LHCR's responsibilities to CMS is peer review of the utilization of services and quality of care and correctness of DRG assignment.  Physicians Reviewers are experienced practitioners to review for Medicare patients and EMTALA Reviews.  Training and orientation will be provided and you will be compensated for your role in the review process.  Only with your participation can we assure that you and your colleagues in Louisiana have the benefit of quality of care improvement and true peer review.  Identity of our reviewers is always confidential.
