Louisiana Health Care Review
presents the 1st Louisiana Health Care
Quality Summit on April 14th at the Hilton Baton
Rouge Capitol Center Hotel. The summit highlights
include the formal presentations of the 2007
Louisiana Health Care Quality Awards as well as
information on the future health care quality
initiative for Louisiana outlined by Governor Bobby
Jindal's administration and the Centers for Medicare
& Medicaid Services (CMS).
In their fourth year,
the Louisiana Health Care Quality Awards
are given annually to health care organizations that
demonstrate a commitment to quality health care
delivery by achieving and sustaining measurable
improvement in defined indicators of the quality of
patient care.
